Why I Started So Damn
Good Wellness

For years, I lived with constant pain.

I'm a wife, mother of two, and Drug & Alcohol Therapist. Long before I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, I knew something wasn't right. I battled daily joint and muscle pain, numbness and tingling in my hands and feet, overwhelming fatigue, and countless doctor visits searching for answers.

When I was finally diagnosed, I felt relieved to have a name for what I was experiencing—but the medications that were meant to help began taking an even greater toll on my body.

Within a year, my quality of life had dramatically declined. I struggled to get out of bed, walking became difficult, climbing stairs felt impossible, and I no longer recognized the woman I had become.

I knew something had to change.

My husband and I began researching natural alternatives and healthier ways to support my body. I slowly transitioned away from relying solely on medication and committed to making lifestyle changes. It wasn't easy. Even exercising was painful in the beginning, but I refused to let Fibromyalgia define my future.

Along that journey, a friend introduced me to the incredible benefits of turmeric and other healing herbs and spices.

As someone who has always loved cooking—and a self-taught chef—I did what came naturally. I stepped into my kitchen and started experimenting.

I wanted a way to enjoy the powerful benefits of turmeric without sacrificing flavor. So I began blending herbs and spices that were not only delicious but intentionally crafted to complement a healthier lifestyle.

What started as a personal solution quickly became a passion.

Over time, I noticed meaningful improvements in my overall well-being. While I don't claim that spices cure illness, I believe nourishing our bodies with wholesome ingredients can be an important part of living well.

Today, So Damn Good Spices is my way of sharing that journey with others.

Every blend is created with purpose—to inspire flavorful meals, bring people together around the table, and encourage healthier choices one meal at a time.

Because food should nourish your body...
and taste So Damn Good.

Turmeric has been valued for centuries for its vibrant color, distinctive flavor, and wellness-supporting properties. Its primary active compound, curcumin, is responsible for turmeric's rich golden hue and has been widely studied for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. According to the Mayo Clinic, curcumin continues to be researched for its potential role in supporting overall wellness and joint health. Incorporating turmeric into a balanced diet is a flavorful way to enjoy one of nature's most celebrated spices.
